You will work directly with clients to ensure their properties are healthy and well-maintained, following all safety protocols for pesticide application.
Key Responsibilities:
Apply pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers to lawns and shrubs as per company standards and state regulations.
Inspect customer properties to identify pest, weed, and disease issues, recommending appropriate treatment solutions.
Operate and maintain lawn care equipment, including sprayers, spreaders, and other machinery.
Educate customers on proper lawn care techniques and provide recommendations for ongoing maintenance.
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding pesticide usage.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety standards and protocols.
Qualifications:
Experience in lawn care, landscaping, or horticulture is required.
Valid pesticide applicator’s license or ability to obtain one (company may provide training).
Knowledge of different turf diseases, pests, and treatment methods.
Ability to safely handle and apply chemicals, including proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Physical ability to lift equipment and perform manual labor outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Small Engine Mechanic
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Small Engine Mechanic to join our landscaping team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing and repairing a variety of small engines, including lawnmowers, trimmers, leaf blowers, snowblowers and other landscaping equipment. You will ensure that all equipment is in good working order to help maintain efficiency and safety for our field teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect, diagnose, and repair small engine-powered equipment such as lawnmowers, snow blowers, and trimmers.
Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, and blade sharpening.
Troubleshoot engine problems using diagnostic tools and provide repair solutions.
Maintain an organized and safe workspace in the equipment maintenance area.
Keep detailed records of services and repairs for each piece of equipment.
Order and maintain an inventory of parts and supplies needed for equipment repairs.
Collaborate with the field team to ensure timely repairs and minimal equipment downtime.
Perform pre-season and post-season equipment checks and maintenance.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a small engine mechanic or relevant mechanical role.
Strong diagnostic skills for small engines, including 2-cycle and 4-cycle engines.
Familiarity with lawn and landscaping equipment repairs (lawnmowers, snowblowers, trimmers, etc.).
Ability to lift and move heavy equipment when necessary.
